CP/CENT/CTTE. Includes records for various ad hoc sub-committees or departments of the Executive Committee notably including the Parliamentary Department (CP/CENT/CTTE/01/01) which, in the late 1940s, oversaw the activities of the CPGB's two MPs, Willie Gallacher and Phil Piratin. There are also important records of the: West Indies Committee; National Jewish Committee (formerly the Jewish Bureau); Science and Technology Sub-Committee (STSC); Unemployment Committee; Committee for the Study of the European Socialist Countries; National Race Relations Committee; Black Members Caucus; National Advisory Committee on Ireland; Health Advisory Committee, including many health publications; and finally a group of miscellaneous smaller advisory committee files, including Social Services Advisory Committees; Religious Affairs Advisory Committee; Pensioners' Advisory Committee; Housing Advisory Committee; and Communist Manifesto Centenary Committee.
